Llebeig Xàbia Athletics Club

The Club D’Atletisme Llebeig Xàbia association is an athletics club established in 1991 to provide all parts interested in this sport with a meeting point in Javea where improvements could be discussed, interests could be protected and athletics events could be organised in town.

Nowadays, this athletics club has 140 affiliates, of which 95 are active athletes.

Besides the above mentioned goals, the Club D’Atletisme Llebeig Xàbia manages the Escuela Municipal de Atletismo.

This Athletics Town School supports the sporting activity of young athletes and provides them with the human resources and infrastructure needed to train them, in 5 categories: benjamín (ages 9 to 10), alevín (ages 11 to 12), infantil (13 to 14), cadete (15 to 16) and juvenil (17 and older).

Nowadays, the club organises local competitions: Town Schoools cross, Baix Montgó cross, Volta a Peu a Xàbia, athletics school games, and the Penya La Bufa town run.

The affiliated athletes are not limited to regional competitions. In fact, they are regular participants in national and international marathons.

We would like to take this opportunity to mention the “2^nd Volta a Peu a Palmera”, a 7.2 km walk where everybody can take part. We will publish additional information on this event as soon as it is available.
