Next May, the guided tours of historic Xàbia will start to be held in different languages besides Spanish: English, French and German.
This activitiy is organised by the Tourism Dept. Year after year, this Dept. offers a wide range of activities to promote the cultural and natural patrimony of Jávea. One of such activities it the guided tours in English, French and German. The visits will take 1:30 h to complete and the starting point will be the Tourist Info Office of Xàbia Centre.
Thanks to the success of the “El Tesoro de Xàbia” (Xàbia’s Treasure) theatrical tours, this year a new tour opens in Jávea: “El Puerto de los Sueños” ( The Harbour of Dreams), will will take you to the history and tales of Aduanas del Mar (Sea customs area).

Tuesday, March 27:
- At 12:00 h in Casa de Cultura launch of the second edition of the Dau Al Deu. Organised by Meridià Zero.
Exhibition halls and galleries are one of the best attractions in Jávea; they are another excuse to visit this beautiful town, stroll around the streets and enjoy art.
This month, Jávea has:
- Bento’s Gallery: Selection of Gallery-stored Works by Oscar Bento; Art D’Oscar Bento Exhibition starting 31 March; paintings, sculpture and photography until April 2012.
Extreme Active Xàbia 2012 is another initiative for the youth of the town, organised by the Jávea Youth Council —Monjove. All the young people of Xàbia are cordially invited to take part in the latest edition of Extreme Active Xàbia, with more workshops, competitions with prizes, hip hop, graffitis, slackline, materials exhibition and many more.
Next Saturday 24 March, the 1º BMX competition will take place, with different categories and prizes. BMX (short for Bicycle Moto Cross) is an acrobatic cycling style born in California in the 70’s. This discipline became an Olympic game back in 2008, during the Peking Olympics. The first time an official BMX event took place in Jávea was last year, as part of the activities of the Nadal Jove season.
