This photo of the week shows the Cala Sardinera (Sardine Cove) in Javea, in the province of Alicante. It is a cove located on the north side of Cabo San Martin, or Cabo Blanco, a natural cove and practically virgin waters, has a length of 500 meters and a width of 5 meters.
In order to get to the Cala Sardinera you need to gain access by foot from the Mirador de la Cruz del Portitxol on the road to Cabo de la Nao, along a path that passes through a beautiful pine forest with wonderful views.
Improved Taxi Service Jávea
The Taxi service in Jávea should see a great improvement with the accession of the Cooperativa del Taxi Xábia to the Central Training Centre of Taxis of the Valencian Community. This is a new system to which they have added 16 more taxis.
The Taxi Service Central Offices are located in La Nucía and are equipped with the most modern tracking systems (GPD and GPRS), its function is to provide an efficient service 24 hours a day.
Free Mini Bus Service Jávea
The merchants association at the Historical Market in Jávea ( Xàbia) will be operating during the months of September and August a free electric minibus service in order to provide residents, visitors and tourists the opportunity to visit the historical area of the town of Jávea.
The minibus will only seat 11 people, but this size bus was chosen to make it easier to access the narrow streets of the Historical Centre. It’s going to be available to customers free of charge if they are carrying heavy bags or simply to enable customers to discover the beauty of the town´s streets and shopping centre.
