Jávea’s Yacht Club will host the Sir Thomas Lipton Match Cup 2012 from 28 March to 1 April 2012, authorised by the ISAF (International Sailing Federation) and The Region of Valencia Sailing Federation. This competition is considered Grade 2 by ISAF and Grade 1 by the Spanish Royal Sailing Federation (Real Federación Española de Vela).

3rd Granadella Road Mountain Race:
Tomorrow, Sunday 26 February, 2012 at 10:00 h. , the Pinosol Park will be the gathering point and starting point for this race in both walking (13 km) and running (16 km) modes.
On Saturday 25 February, 2012 Javea has a special activity for children. All the little ones are invited to enjoy the play “La Rabosa Perillosa” in the Casa de Cultura performed by “L’Oracle de l’Est” theater group. There will be two performances one at 17:00 and another at 18: 00 h.
A very special activity planned for the next Friday 24 February at 18:00 h. is the children’s storytelling session to be held at the Municipal Library. The story chosen this time is the classic fairy tale “John the Fearless”.
To mark the International Day of Tour Guides, tomorrow Tuesday 21 February, Yenling Chan -official touristic guide- has volunteered to lead a guided tour through the streets and most significant buildings of old town of Javea. This free of charge activity will leave at 11:00 h. from the Tourist Info Centre Xàbia, located in the Plaza de la Iglesia (Church Square).
