Jávea in the province of Alicante, leads the list of quality beaches with 3 blue flags assigned, to prove the excellence of their facilities, cleanliness, ease of access and comfort. If we had to highlight one of the beaches of Jávea, that would be Arenal beach, a point of reference in the Region of Valencia, because of the great advantages offered to holiday makers and residents looking to enjoy the fantastic waters of the Mediterranean Sea.
Together with Arenal beach, La Grava and Granadella have been honoured with this blue flag, which acknowledges the good job made by those responsible of keeping the beaches of Jávea in the best shape. Now three of them are part of the list of 100 places in the Region of Valencia that have been awarded the flag.
The Blue Flag is an international recognition given every year by the Environmental Education Foundation. It is given to ports and beaches of high environmental quality with excellent facilities and services for visitors, clean and with adequate information and resources management.
