From 4th to 8th December, there is a Christmas street market in Javea/Xabia.
This market will be more than just a simple row of stalls. The organisers have set themselves to bring the truly essence of Christmas as it was on the past.
It is the perfect occasion to savour the Spanish customs and atmosphere in Christmas. The Three Wise Men will arrive to the market to meet with the kids and collect the mail -in Spain the tradition is sending wish letters to the Three Wise Men, not to Santa. Kids will have the opportunity of riding on the back of the Three Wise Men’s camels and horses.
There will also be, of course, a nativity scene worth visiting and the whole place will be beautifully decorated. Santa will be around and games will be organised to entertain kids.
Exhibitors will sell not only handcrafted items and original gifts, but also exquisite Spanish gastronomy typical of the season.
The market is set in the Andres Lambert Street, in the harbour of Javea, and opens from 11:30 to 14:30 and in the afternoon, starting at 17:00h.
