Next Thursday 24 November at 20:00 h we are going to have the opportunity of enjoy a concert of Celia Mur in the framework of the Cycle Women, Music and Love, in the Casa de Cultura de Jávea.
Celia Mur is a Spanish singer of jazz and fusion, with modern and flamenco-classical training. She started her adventures in the music inspired by his father, the composer and flamenco guitarist Antonio Moya Fernandez, who guided her in her first contact with the Spanish music and flamenco.
As promised in previous posts, today we bring the rest of the schedule for the fiestas at the Harbour of Jávea 2011, including the full program from Sunday 4 September through last day of the festival, Thursday 8 September.
Sunday 4 September : XX Virgin of Loreto Chess Championship (and XXIII Open Villa de Jávea) at 10:00 h in Severo Ochoa street with the participation of many national and international Masters. Later, at 16:00 h, the II Poker Contest will take place and the same evening -at 22:00 h- the Bradmis orchestra will entertain the Brotherhood Dinner, where organizers will invite drink and dessert.
Classical music aficionados will enjoy 4 fantastic concerts Xàbia from August 10 to 14 with the II Xàbia Clasica Festival.
After the popularity of this festival last year, classical music comes to Jávea once again with renowed acts like that of the Quartet of Bucharest, Il Concerto Accademico, Gabriel Bianco and Boris Andrianov.
The concerts will take place at Plaza del Conservatorio (conservatory square) at 22.00 h.
Tickets will be available the day of the concert at the box office and at the Tourist Offices of Jávea. The price per show is €20, €16 for senior citizens and €10 for students.
During this August, all residents and visitors of Jávea have the opportunity to enjoy a lot of activities that have been organized at the harbour and the historic city centre to show a little bit more about Jávea and make summer evenings more enjoyable.

The Town Hall of Jávea, aware of the importance of cultural events and activities for residents and tourists alike, organizes for another year the music event called “Música a L’Estiu”. This is the 26th edition.
This series of concerts bring some of the best musicians in the international chamber music scene to both instruct on techniques and how to manage the instruments , as well as to play concerts and make Javeans enjoy with their music.
