The AVE Valencia Madrid high speed train was a very good means of linking these two regions.
Since the service started, thousands have travelled to do business in Madrid or come down to Valencia and enjoy the wide range of leisurely activities awaiting them, such as the Fallas, events such as the Tennis Open 500, the beaches at Costa Blanca and the good weather with the summer breeze.
Now, the Public Works Council brings excellent news:
If you have never taken part in a theatrical route in Costa Blanca and are curious about how these are, this video is for you.
Here, you will be able to enjoy a fragment of a theatrical route that took place in Dénia, not far from Jávea.
In Spain’s Costa Blanca, February and March are the Carnival months. While most towns have their carnival fiestas in half February, others wait until the first weeks of March. That is the case of Pego, Teulada, Benidorm and Denia, just to mention a few examples.
In Teulada, the carnival fiestas ere dedicated almost exclusively to kids. They start today, with a parade with the participation of students at 15:00 h at Teulada and Moraira tonw centres.
In Denia, carnival is similar but celebrated tomorrow, on 5th March.
Every year, on 5th January, the Three Wise Men visit the streets of Spain and bring gifts for the kids. These processions are colourful, joyful events specially dedicated to the kids.
This video shows how the Three Wise Men procession in Denia was.
