Fallas is not a fiesta exclusive of the city of Valencia. If you want to check it by yourself, just keep an eye on the cultural offers that the city of Calpe brings this March 2011.
Calpe’s Fallas will have the glamorous representation of fallera Beatriz Femenía and junior fallera Adriana Pino, who were proclaimed in a ceremony last January.
Since 1983, Calpe celebrates its own Fallas festivity.

In the town of Denia (Alicante) Fallas are a tradition, from the 16th to the 19th of March a total of 11 committees plus the Local Fallera Board will fill the town with monuments.
One of the most spectacular parts of the Fallas in Denia are the firework displays and the mascletaes , although one of the most popular events is the offering to the Virgen de los Desamparados, many visitors who come are fascinated by the typical costumes.
