Valencia Global Champions Tour
The Global Champions Tour is one of the most prestigious horse racing competitions at international level and from6 to 8 May, this renowned event will take place in the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia.
This second stage of the Global Champions Tour tournament is held in cities known for their glamorous lifestyle as Monte Carlo, Abu Dhabi, Cannes and Valencia, where elite horsemen and women will gather to compete in this test.
Forever Young, by Tricicle
Tricicle, the Catalonian trio of comedians, will present a musical comedy at the Olympia Theatre of Valencia.
This play tells the story of a group of retired artists who do not accept they have gotten old. Forever Young is a nice, fun show made with good taste and entertaining musical acts.
This play is an ode to the unquenchable spirit of those who make a living out of art and acting.
The idea of bringing this Erik Gedeon’s play to Spain started in Oslo last year, when members of Tricicle assisted to a representation to this play in its Norwegian version and liked it so much that they bought the rights to represent it Spain in 2011.
Furniture also has a place at the X Valencia Fashion Week
The Ágora of the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia will host the 10th Valencia Fashion Week from 2nd to 4th February 2011.
This fashion show will present the fashion trends of 30 2011 autumn-winter prêt-a-porter collections.

"Hubble: Exploring the Universe"
The film “Hubble: Exploring the Universe” has arrived to the IMAX theater of the Hemisfèric (City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia). It was produced in 2010 by Warner and IMAX in collaboration with NASA. For 42 minutes, the audience travels to the outer space in a journey in 3D.
This film chronicles one of the Hubble Telescope maintaining tasks (mission STS-125) conducted in 2009 aboard the Atlantis shuttle. The Hubble telescope has been collecting images from space for the almost 20 years that has been in orbit around the earth.
AVE train station in Valencia
The Madrid-Valencia AVE high speed train was inaugurated yesterday by the King and Queen of Spain. From this moment, only 95 minutes journey separate the Sorolla station in Valencia from the Atocha station in Madrid.
This convenient means of transport will allow travellers to reach fast and easily the Valencia or Madrid city centre, avoiding luggage check-ins, annoying airport security controls and additional trips from the airport to the city centre.
To celebrate this new route, RENFE has launched a limited offer: tickets bought on internet at least 15 days before the travel day will cost 31.9 EUR. Regular one way tickets bought at the station will cost 79.8 EUR and business class ones will cost 143.7 EUR.
