2nd Xàbia Negra Literature, film and photography Festival 2017 to be held from 3 to 5 November with lectures, conferences, storytelling, theater plays and more as you can see below:

Friday 3 November

10:00 h.: Lecture by Pasqual Alapont (L’Infern de Marta) in IES N1.

12:00 h.: Lecture by Pasqual Alapont (L’Infern de Marta) in IES A. Llidó.

18:00 h.: Round table of authors: Vicente Garrido, Nieves Abarca and Toni Hill. Reading of the beginning of “La Trastienda” the new novel of Vicente Garrido and Nieves Abarca.

20:00 h.: Theater play “La Dama de Negre” at Casa de la Cultura.

21:00 h.: Short film “Perversidad” at the Cine Jayán

Saturday 4 November

10:00 h.: Inauguration by Reading Ambassador Anna Moner and the mayor of Xàbia, José Chulvi, of the book fair and the noir photo exhibition at the Mercat Municipal.

– Signing of books

– “Noir” lunch

11:30 h.: Children’s storytelling at the Plaça de l’Església  Sq.

11:30 h.: Inauguration of the exhibition “Els cossos agredits” by Anna Moner at the Xàbia Museum.

12.00 Round table of authors in l’Embruix: Gordon Brown, Craig Robertson and Alexandra Sokoloff.

13:00 h.: Lecture: historical and modern crimes in l’Embruix by the historian and writer Vicent Baydal and writer Bernardo Carrión.

19:00 h.: Round table of authors at the Duplex: Xavi Aliaga and Ferran Torrent.

20:30 h.: Screening of shorts and full feature film “Leave her to heaven” and lecture at the Jayan Cinema by Juan Bolea and Santiago Álvarez under the title “Evolution and current state of the noir cinema”.

21:30 h.: “The attack of 1812”, dramatized guided tour at the Old Town.

Sunday 5 November

10:00 h.: Dramatized guided tour “La Criminala” in Duanes.

11:30 h.: Children storytelling at Maruja Varó Sq.

12:00 h.: Round table of authors Xavi Aliaga and Bernardo Carrión at Cala Bandida.

18:00 h.: Round table of authors at the Duplex with Toni Hill, Vicente Garrido and Nieves Abarca.

20:00 h.: Final Gala and awards ceremony at the Jayan Cinema featuring the Bloody Mary Show.
